Default break lights

Hello all!
have problem with my '92 civic. The break lights stay on. Please help. Thanks in advance.

What? Do you mean B-R-A-K-E lights?

It should be 1 of 2 things...

1. your wires are touching from the bulb housing,

2. ...or your sensor is broken. The one that tells the computer that you are stepping on the Brake... so it turns on the light.

It could be the little button connected to the brake pedal. If that breakes or even comes unplugged they will come on and stay on.

I doubt it is the bulbs touching cause I belive they are triggered by a posotive so them touching metal shouldnt turn them on.

Sorry for the typo. The problem was the little switch by the brake pedal. I got it replaced. Thank you all very much.
