Broken studs! (two of them!)

thank you very much! i just picked up the studs from advance auto for $1.49/piece so I will try this out tonight.

they weren't properly torqued. Should be 80lbs if i remember correctly?

To the OP; not too sure what the clank is you're talking about. I'm no mechanical expert but if i had a guess it would be a missing rubber bushing from the disassemble.

Problem FIXED!! I took off the drum and hammered out the old studs. I put everything back together and pulled the new studs in by using washers and tightening the lug nut on to the stud. Everything worked perfectly! I want to thank everyone on the forum that gave me advice. I am happy to be a Civic owner now and look forward to learning more about the car. Thanks again everyone!
