Default A/C Problem

I have an '05 Civic Si. I recently bought it and prior to my ownership, it had a minor front end collision in which the A/C condensor and radiator were replaced. The car drives great except I have noticed that when I have my A/C on and the engine fan kicks on and off, a weird mechanical growling noise occurs when I shift gears once I get it up to a higher RPM to shift. If I turn off my A/C, the growling noise immediately stops. It appears to have something to do with my engine fan and my A/C judging by when the noise occurs and does not occur. Does this have anything to do with the new condensor? Any ideas?
