A/C Problem

When I turn on the a/c it starts switchingon and off. What's wrong with my a/c?

Please provide more detail. What turns on and off? Are you referring to the fan blower inside the car, the condensor fan near the radiator, or the compressor?

The compressor and the fan near the radiator won't turn on. Inside the car, air comes out of the vents but it switches on and off and the light on the a/c switch starts flashing.

Start by checking fuses #47 and #56 in the under-hood fuse/relay box (see picture).
