Size:  52.1 KBi have a 1999 honda civic si engine ... it had edlebrock JG adjustable cam gears and im not sure which timing marks im supposed to use ...

on these gears there is a [A,,,,,,,0,,,,,,,R]but there is also to individual marks on these gears ..

all i need to know is ... do the advance and retard degree marks point straight up or do they line up side ways..

If you're asking how to set the cams to TDC in order to put the belt on, I think the two single marks on the sides of the gears are supposed to be horizontal (parallel with the top edge of the head), like the stock cam gears.

if someone had a pic of this motor with adjustible cam gears at TDC ... it would be alot easier for me ...
