Default Car jerks when going into 1st gear

What up A. So, I have a 98 civic ex that needed a new clutch because it started slipping. So I replaced it and also put a new flywheel as well. What started happening is as im letting go of the clutch and pushing the gas pedal is that it jerks(bounces) until i push the gas pedal even more and fully release the clutch pedal. It wasnt like that before. My questions are Could it be a cable adjustment that is needed? Or could something else other than the clutch be the cause? It only does it as im going into 1st. Thanks.
