car wont start

Default car wont start

it sounds like it wants to start but it wont i was seeing if it was an ecm problem

first of all check to see if you are getting spark to the plugs and check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

we checked that and everything is ok with that we also checked all the volts and im getting volts out of everything but the check engine light stays on

1992 civic hatchback the one day i was driving it later that night i went 2 go home and it didnt start

Default ecm

if the one of the numbers are different on the ecm would it make a differance my numbers are 37820-p06-a50 and the one i found the last numbers are a52

well i believe A50 denotes an AT ecu..

A52 denotes the MT ecu?

This much I know for certain
if you're running an AT ecu in a MT car, it won't start correctly (ECU will be looking for a "car is in park" sensor message, but obviously won't be receiving one)
and vise versa (ECU will look for "clutch is depressed" sensor message)
