Ok, about 2 weeks ago it started spuddering when i accelerated. when i let off and coasted it did fine. it also idled fine. It also only spuddered after the car had warmed up for a few minutes. One day it just stopped. The car ran beautifully. Then yesterday the spuddering started and today it died on me in a parking lot. A guy stopped and was looking at it and his opinion was the fuel filter. Although i didnt think this was the problem, i replaced it anyway. It still didnt start. the battery is brand new and it is powering everything fine. When i try to start it, it kind of sounds like i just ran out of gas and just put some in it but never does start. any ideas at all? my 2 guesses are Fuel pump or dirty injector. but i dont know that much about cars so any help is appreciated.

 

very quietly turn key on all the way but dont start and off and listen 4 a hhuuuummmmmm noise from your fuel pump.if u here it then ur fuel pump is working if not than fuel pump is bad.w/b and let me know how it went.

 

If you don't hear the fuel pump hhuuuummmmmm noise, then the problem could be the fuel pump (as mentioned by 94civichatchback) or the main relay.
