Car has been sitting since about December, give or take a couple weeks, I do plan on changing out the filter but should I also change out the oil. I have Mobil1 synthetic with about 4k miles on it already.

Put it this way... it's never a bad idea to change the oil. Would it be Ok not to? Probably, as long as you check it and the level is Ok, but why wonder?
