Ok, so yesterday i was omw to class and while i was listening to a cd the volume kept fluctuating up and down at like 20 second intervals, kinda like i kept pressing the att. button. Has this happend to anyone before, what should i do?

 

nope, what brand player is it? it sounds like the remote mute wire might be shorting out, but that is only if u have a aftermarket deck.

 

my moms honda factory cd palyer in her 99lx....if you turn it down, sometimes it will go down a little, then back up, then back down....i laff at her cuz she has to roll the thing like 30 times for it to go where she wants it...lol but other times its fine.i would bet on a short or bad connection to that wire (if its aftermarket) also, was your deck telling you the vol was going down or was it just a noticable change? if its the second, it could be a lose speaker wire....just a thought.

 

I have a jvc Kameleon aftermarket, amd yea its just a noticable difference, ill check the speaker connections again

 

or your jvc is taking a poop on ya, those have the buttons that wiggle loose after a while and become very touchy a bump or anyhting will make them do silly things.
