If you get a varying voltage on the output wire of your secondary sensor but the computer still throws the "sensor" code, your catalytic converter may be bad.
If believe in this case, a P0420 code would be thrown.

I don't remember the exact code I was getting, I'll have to check again. Tonight I'll see if there is any voltage going to the secondary sensor. Thanks for the help!

The secondary o2 sensor flutuates from 0 to .5 volts ever few seconds. But the primary sensor says at about .6 only moving slightley. Would that mean a problem with the cat?

I believe that the secondary sensor or its circuit is faulty because the voltages of the secondary sensor should never fluctuate more than than those of the primary sensor.

Did you determine the specific code being thrown?

Turns out the computer just needed to be reset. Disconnecting the battery doesnt completley reset it. I took it in to my mechanic and he reset it with some device.
