Unhappy Cel p0135

i pulled the code i got P0135 (Primary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Primary HO2S) (Sensor 1) Heater Circuit Malfunction

idle did changed as well but not all the times.. did a research and it says that it might be the IACV?

i wanna make sure if the IACV is the problem or the O2 primary sensor. i dont want to buy both parts if only is the problem.

thanks in advance!

Code 135 is definitely something related to the sensor. Either the sensor itself is bad or the circuit is not getting power. Engine cold, unplug the sensor and check for continuity between its heater wires (the two wires on the sensor that are the same color, typically either black or white). I think the spec is about 10 to 40 ohms. If its open circuit, replace sensor.

ok, i fixed idle problem issue..

my buddy cleaned the throttle body...

now i need to buy the primary sensor..

found some in amazon..

DENSO 234-4099 = $34.54
NGK 24542 = $41.63

i checked my sensor and brand is Denso (not sure if thats the original part coz i bought the car used 7 yrs ago). is it reliable than NGK?

i havent checked the the continuity of the sensor though..

Have you reset the ECU to see whether the code returns?

Have you checked whether 7.5A dash fuse 15 is blown?

The cracked exhaust manifold would make the engine run rich but would NOT throw code P0135. But definitely replace the cracked exhaust manifold.

Reset the ECU to see whether the code returns.
