Default Changing 12 volt accessory plug(cigarrete lighter)?

2003 EX-So my 12 volt accessory plug is bad and need to change it. I already checked the fuse and it is not the problem. So I'm wondering if anyone has had to change theirs out and how difficult it was? What was the steps in doing so? What was the cost? Thank you for any help!

Remove the dash piece that the lighter is mounted to. Meaure to confirm that power is reaching the wires on the back of the socket. If not, it's a wiring problem. Often the socket is just loose and/or the wires are broken where they attach. If you do need a new socket I think they are about $10.00.
