chip install issues

i got one of those cheap chips off ebay. at the end of the instructions it reads: if your car revs past 4000 rpms and doent throw and engine code you succsessfuly chipped your ecu..... now what if i am haveing the 4k issue along with the code issue and it idles at at 2k wtf. any1 out there had this problem please help.

unfortunatly you can never tell with the ebay chips, they usually just wreck/blow the engine, it is deffinatly in your best interest to cut the J1 jumper that you installed and return it back to the stock map
