Civic Dash Lights

I bought my daughter a 93 Civic and it has a weird problem with the dash lights. This is from the previous owner. When it is cold, the lights work perfect, but as the car warms up, the dash lights go out and do not work. If anyone else ever had a problem like this could they please help me out. Thanks in advance.
