Angry Civic hessitatin under load

Hey what's up fellas well I just recently replaced the motor in my civic it was running great and just now has been acting up. It will warm up and under a load will hessitat almost seems like it begins to misfire. I let off and runns normal but if I give it too much gas itwill act up again. Sometimes it will actup and then clear up and run normal.

I did see a TSB # 636738 on Honda tech about a simaler issue but didn't see what needed to be done to resolve the issue

I have a supision it could possibly be the coolant temp sensor that feeds input to the ecu but not quiet sure.

Any of you fellas have any input in reguards to this issue I'm haveing ??? Thanks forthe help

Any CEL codes?

How old and worn/corroded are the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor?

Have you checked the mechanical timing?

I just put a new belt on before installing it in the bay. I changed pugs, Fuel filter. The wires, cap, button, are good.

I don't have a check engine light on.

You think it could be due to a coolant temp sensor ?? ( The one that feeds the ecu )

Well I've replaced the cap and button not much change it still sputters when I give it too much gas If I let off it runs normal and at idel it's not stable it hunts a bit and and it feels like it's missing but I don't have a check engine light on.

Also on the crank which line is the one I need to use to set the timming correctly ?? K owtised their are 3 and 1 by it's self ?? You think it could be an o2 sensor 0r distributor ??

Go by the three marks. Try to time it to the middle of them.

This is true for the ignition timing. The middle mark is red.

For the mechanical timing, use the lone white mark.

You should change the spark wires too. You can't tell by looking that they're bad. Misfiring under load is almost always due to weak sparks.

To set the spark timing warm up the engine, jumper the ECU test plug, then check with a timing light. Set to the center mark in the group of 3. If you don't jumper the test plug the timing will be way off.
