Wow how could I have been so blinded at something so simple. Well I beggan to check the injectors and noticed that the motor didn't change so I've co
e to the conclusion that I have a nonfunctioning #4 injector.

well guys I've changed the injector and some of the hessitation has deminished but I still have problems with it bucking in first and second. Also when I down shift and give it gas it doesn't like that too much and begging to hessitate.

Any suggestions ???????

Unplug the injectors again and see if #4 is still dead. What you're doing is not exactly an injector test, it cuts off the fuel to one cylinder to see if that cylinder is firing. If it's not firing it could also be the wire or the plug for #4, crack / short in the cap or lack of compression in that cylinder (maybe just valves adjusted too tight).

My girl told me that it mainly does it when the car is warmed up. Has me stumped

Did you check the mechanical and ignition timing?

Do you still think that cylinder 4 is dead? If so, does cyl 4 have spark? Does the cyl 4 injector have power and does it click with the engine running?

Have you tried unplugging the O2 sensor?

I did check the injector and is working now also redid the timming and phisicaly checked the dist. Although I haven't checked the 02 sensor what would be the ohms read out if I was to check it with the multimeter ???

If you unplug the O2 sensor and the problem goes away, then just replace the O2 sensor. It's that simple.

Have you checked for spark at plug #4?
