Default Civic won't run after motor swap.

I recently did a motor swap on 2001 honda civic. I now have it completely finished but it fails to run on it owns. Actually sounds like it has a big cam on two cyls. I replaced the cap, plugs, rotor, and wires. However it will turn over briefly, then die. I was told it was a valve underneath the intake. Replaced it and im still stumped. Any ideas or answers would be great. Thank you.

Check the timing belt timing. Check the firing order. Check the compression, are you sure the new motor is good? The USA model 2001 does not have a distributor, what motor did you swap to?
