Clicking noise when steering or going over bumps.
I have a 1999 civic lx and when I am moving and turn the steering wheel left and right, even just a little bit, it makes a click to each side. Also sometimes when I go over bumps it makes the clicking noise. And sometimes with hard stops.... I have some ideas I just want to make sure before I buy any parts or start tearing everything apart...
yeah i would go with the CV joint. That ecact same thing happened to me on my 97lx after about 160,000miles. it costed me about $85 or so at a CV joint place, i would get them to do it only because it is such a messy job.
Pshhh!!! That's half the fun is getting messy! Gives a sense of satisfaction! [sm=pimp.gif] ---- If it is your cv axle and it is clicking, be extremely careful when driving it. My brothers old 89 Camry did the same thing, the CV axle came un-seated and he lost a drive wheel and had major issues. CAREFUL!!!!
