Default climate control

96 civic ex 2dr. driving with ac on. fan speed on 2. fan/blower shuts off. slide to setting 1 and fan/blower goes off. slide to 3 and works fine. 3 and 4 work fine with or w/o AC. 1 and 2 no fan/blower. does the unit need replaced? is there a seperate fuse for 1/2, 3/4? talk to me goose

You need a new resistor assembly. Possibly the switch but that's a real remote possibilty. There is only one fuse.

it was the resistor. 27 dollars from autozone. took 20 mins to change out. thanks guys
