Default Clutch Question

I got in my car this morning and pushed in my clutch to start and it wouldn't start. I pushed the clutch to the floor and it then started. I have never had to push the clutch in that far. Is this a sign of anything? Should I have it checked out. I am about to turn over 97,000 miles. Should I have it checked on before I take it in for a 100k check/tune up?

Just went out and looked and I can't find anything. Is there something I need to remove to get to it. I am a newbie so forgive me for sounding dumb.

Thanks for the help in advance.
