Hey everybody - the rear wiper arm on my '90 Si is all bent and floppy (at rest, the wiper arm drops below the level of the rear window ... I've seen other Si's start to rust at that point because of the same thing). I'm wondering if anyone knows of another wiper assembly (from another generation Civic or other car) that I can sub in for the one I have now?

Why don't you just replace the arm?

 

I guess it looks to me as if a straighter or differently angled wiper (than OEM) might not have the problem of dropping below the window line. If anyone else has had this problem and can offer a fix, I'd be grateful to hear about it. Thanks!

 

I never had 4th gen hatch, but I really doubt this thing is "by design", it is probably because your wiper driver is weared out. But I'd better leave this to the people who know this model
