cooling fans not working
'02 Civic 1.7. My ac stopped working so I checked all of the fuses inside and out, everything is ok. Noticed that neither the ac fan or the radiator fan is working. Is there something in the dash behind the radio that I can check? I seem to recall reading somewhere that there is a contact or something there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to drive it and risk overheating. Thanks.

Does the compressor engage? If not the first thing to consider would be loss of all refrigerant pressure due to a sudden serious leak. Check with gauges, or find the pressure switch on the accumulator (left fender area) and check if it is closed circuit. Then plug the switch back in and measure voltage from either wire to ground. The voltage should drop to near zero when you press the A/C button with the engine running. If that happens it's probably the MCU failed, not passing the A/C command to the ECU. Bad MCU will usually kill the remote locks and the dome light also.
If compressor does engage but not fans, it would have to be the fan motors or the fuses and relays in the underhood box. You may have been running on one fan for a while and didn't notice until now when the second one failed too.
