Default cv joint replacement

I replaced the passenger side drive shaft on my 1993Cvic did not have ABS brakes, but the part that I had purchased has adynamic damper to be used on ABS brakes, the old one I removed, did not have a damper. My question, can I remove the damper due to the clearence problems with drive shaft book only notes replace is I were rebuilding.

Default RE: cv joint replacement

you need the correct part for your car, take it back to who ever you purchased it from, and exchange it for the right part, it'll save you a ton of headaches
