d16y8's and spun bearings...

I've come to the conclusion that the reason y8's spin more bearings is because of the oil pump. It only pumps 35quarts/per min. and the d16z6 pumps 45 a min. Seems like the y8 pumps can starve the motor of oil. I really don't want my y8 to spin a bearing, plus my VTEC won't engage and Im wondering if it's because of oil pressure. Is there anything I can do to stop my motor from spinning a bearing? Is there a specific oil pump for the y8 that's high flowing?
