Default Spun Bearing or lifters?

So im drivin my buddy out back to school practically racing back. as soon as i come off the offroad my car throws a cel and wont let me rev passed 4 grand ... i start drivin and here a little ticking noise so i get oil put it in and then bout half hour later drivin back on the pike it gets louder and starts burnin a lot of oil and gas... and now it wont go passed 4 and the cel comes on again ... when im in 5th and push in the clutch my car would shut off and id have a low idle... now its harder to start and i cant really go passed 60 unless its rollin downhill ...Any one have an idea?? I got it towed fyi lol but i dont know what it is im not mechanically inclined haha.. my friend either thinks its a spun bearing or the lifters...

They don't have lifters. Sounds like the rest of your engine is toast from running out of oil.

Hmm, this is interesting. Is it burning oil or leaking oil? Any smoke from the exhaust? Ill have to agree with mk378 at this point....
