Default Spun a bearing gay!!!

So my motor burned through 3.5 quarts of oil in 3 weeks, no leak, just burned through it. I didn't realize it and now its knocking. So today, I am either getting a high comp short block that needs rings for 100 orrr putting ACL race bearingsm (which are almost $40 cheaper than OEM btw), new rings, getting the crank turned, and honing the pistons. I'm pissed, but at the most should be about $150 and a few days of waiting on parts and putting everything together. Luckily it didn't spin a bearing out of the block or it would be a whole lot worse. Drove it home almost 30 mile knocking staying in 5th gear and rolling in nuetral when I could staying around 35-40 mph lol. Man I love how cheap and easy honda/acura motors are. Just thought I would rant, if I can find a camera, I'll post pics of the work as I pull it apart.

That's an unfortunate turn of events, but I look forward to pictures of the engine rebuild. Don't you think that replacing the engine might be a safer course of action?

Check-out this site for a used Mill. You can find one with some Low Miles and go from there.

I now have 2 ls blocks. One I got for free, b/c it also had a spun bearing. It did not sling it through the block, and the cylinder walls are good. Broke down both blocks today, putting B16 pistons on B18b rods, sticking with LS head. Will be 10.6:1 Compression. Ordering ACL bearings tomorrow, picked up piston rings today. Just need the crank turned and bearings put on and it will be good. Will be keeping my other LS block for my future turbo project.
