Default Different engines

Now ive heard a lot about b16's, b18C1's, c5's, k20's, etc. and dont really have a clue what theyre talking about. So if someone could explain each engine that would be great. Goods, bads, what theyre each good for, what car theyre from, etc. Thanks a lot

Ive looked at those before and could never find an answer to what im looking for. I want positives and negatives, how they respond to mods, why people choose the diff. engines, etc. Im looking for any answers to these as i would like to be able to understand the different engines a little better.

The reason no one is answering, is because the question has been answered to death. Seriously the best thing you can do for yourself is to utilize the search feature. Search each engine one at a time, there is an endless wealth of knowledge, and LOT of personal opinions about all of those motors.

its too broad - you will open up a pandora's box if you start putting different engines into a vehicle that was not meant for that vehicle. people mod the particular vehicle that they have with the engine that came with it. (or with one that will swap). there are some that change to the VTEC - but what honda do you have and what engine is in it ??
