dip stick splots

Hey,

so i just got an oil change and when i check my dip stick there are only a couple of splots o oil on the stick. also the oil light flickers.....any ideas as to why this happens? i have a 95 civic dx 5spd with 128k on it.

The engine was not properly refilled with oil. Add oil until the level on the dipstick reads full.

and cehck to make sure your filter and drain plug are tight. they may have filled it properly but just didnt tighten properly allowing oil to leak out. there are many horror stories where someone took their vehicle to a shop for an oil change and the lube tech failed to tighten correctly and all of the oil leaked out and then BLAMO! seized engine =[
