disconected battery and starting problems
i have a 92 civic ls i have no previous history on the vehicle i just got it.i disconnected the battery and when i reconnected it my car does not want to start and a alarm goes off(i did not know it had a alarm)i found a little button next to the fuse box that allows it to start but once i turn it off it does not want to turn on unless i keep pressing the little button and try to start it.do you guys have any idea how i can solve this starting problem????all suggestions are appreciated.

It wont start because it's got an alarm and a starter kill. If you don't have the remote for your alarm, the alarm it's self is useless to you. Look under the dash, directly below your steering wheel. You should find a small box (usually black in color) with a connector that has various wires (around 10-30 depending on how cheap the previous owner was) zip tied up there somewhere. Unplug that connector and try taking off the battery again, put it back on, and the car should start. The box it's self won't be doing anything, so you can clip the black wire that travels into the box and remove it if you like, or keep it there if you want to try getting a remote for it.
