Sorry for the delay in posting, I am in the UK. Fault code 1768 is designated as... torque convertor / clutch solenoid valve "B" .... any solenoid valve problems are associated with dirty fluid, it only takes 1 ounze of foreign matter to trash an auto-box and torque convertor. If you have already changed the solenoid & changed the fluid, then it means a replacement box & torque convertor. I dont see any other way around the problem. If the internal valve-block is contaminated it cannot be repaired satisfactorily..... much cheaper to fit a replacement box...& torque convertor... 2nd hand preferably. I hope that this helps.
I was thinking about replacing the trannybecause I did everything possible to try and fix itbut I wanted to make sure so I wouldn't wind up having two tranny doing the same thing in case it was electrical.
thanks anyways for your help
