i found a diagram and wired it to that, this diagram had everything i needed except my tack isnt working, i am told the wire you leave unpluged controls the tach on 96-98 ecu but on 99-00 the ecu does that so im running a 00 ecu, now what do i do with that extra wire to make the tach work?

ok i got pin a19 and ran it over to my cluster but im not sure what plug or what wire to put it on, i figured it was the blue wire in the 3 wire plug thinking the tach is just a pot switch but it didnt work, so what wire on the back of my cluster do i want, i have a 98 ex
Ok I ran the wire from a19 to c8 on the back of the cluster, found out that plug c on the back of the cluster is the one big one on the side and not the one in the middle and it's blue wire in case anyone searches this later on, thanks for the help!
