I'm trying not to spend too much since I don't know if that'll fix it or not. I've already replaced the rotor and cap, plugs, wires and car still won't run. So if anybody has a good one for a good price let me know. Thanks

 

the car just isnt starting? have you checked to see if you are getting spark?

 

Doesn't seem like it's getting spark. That last civic that had this problem shocked me when we were strying to start it. This one just keeps trying to start but won't. I'm guessing distributor. When it stopped the car was just idling. My girlfriend was letting it warm up and then it just shut off on her and hasn't started since

 

well check the spark... pull out one of the plugs, while holding the rubber put the threads to metal and then get someone to turn the car over a couple times to see if there is spark... if there is, then its probably fuel. Check to make sure you are getting fuel up to the injectors.

if there isnt spark, then yeah i would say its definitely the distributor... i have one for a d15b7... not sure if its the same or not though, but its pretty much brand new
