I know that the DX had A/C, an AM/FM stereo and Power Steering. I'm thinking it had a Trunk Light too...
any civic was offered A/C as an option, but it was not standard on the DX. as for the rest of the stuff, I am not 100% sure. Oh and I am 100% sure my car (97 ex sedan 5 speed) came with ABS standard equiped. It is on my sticker, and they have kicked in a few times,...

Oh adn one way to tell if your car has ABS is when you turn on the ignition, tehre is an ABS light that comes one. They have speed sensors at every corner and the ABS light comes on when they are reading differences(as when in a dyno).

In 1997, all Civics came with 14-inch wheels, DX models got full wheel covers, the LX sedan received air conditioning and, strangely, EX coupes with manual transmissions no longer had the option of antilock brakes.

Lol, yeah. 200K miles + and I still have the sticker in the glove box. It is a little old, but a good memory of my first NEW car ever purchased. I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Yup, it looks like the coupes got the shorter end of the stick

I think they did that because some people dont like ABS, they use there own driving skills to control the car in a hard braking situation

Yeah, I'd rather not have them. They do help a lot in some situations and most supercars even have them but I'll just do it myself thanks.
