Default Dome light not working in 2k3 civic lx

Hi guys,

I am new to this forum and facing some issue with the dome light on 2003 civic lx.

I have aftermarket radio installed and its been more than 2 years now. My dome light was working fine all along. Suddenly it stopped working for the past one week. Both ON position and CENTER position is not working. But my spotlights are working fine.

My understanding is the fuse no.3 is common for spotlight and dome light. Since the spotlight is working fine, then the fuse shouldn't be an issue. I had changed the bulb and still problem exist. Also the same bulb works fine if I place it in the spotlight. So I am really confused what to check.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!
Henry.

Hi fglaustin,

Thanks a lot for your response. Yesterday I had removed the switch and but it back. Its started working. Seems like some connectivity issue. I am happy that it worked without walkin to the dealership.

Once again thanks!
