Default Drivers side window won't work.

Hello. I'm having a very odd issue.

I had to replace my drivers side window aculator becasue the metal unit the window sits on got warped and would cause the window to roll up inproperly. I purshased an aftermarket window regulator and to my surprise, it did not work. I found this odd an went back to the manufacturer assuming the unit was faulty. Sadly, the second unit did not work either.
So, I started to diagnose the problem and replaced the fuse and master control switch. Still no luck.
I can not check the OEM window regulator becasue the wires have seperated from the unit beyond repair. Anyone have a similiar issue? Would appreciate some feedback before I waste even more money fixing this.

It is a 1998 Honda Civic EX coupe.

Thanks,
Thomas

the rubber on my window is F@#$KED up...when i roll my window up all the way, if i hold the switch to the point where it stops, then it goes off the track and the rubber at the top gets folded inside my car so the window is all weird, and when im on the freeway the window shakes and the sound of air rushing is really loud and annoying. my passenger window works perfect....and my window rolls down and up really slow at night, during the day its normal though. so when i roll my window up, i jsut roll it to the point where theres about 4mm of space or else it gets really off the track

i have a 99 civic ex coupe

it sounds like the regulator isn't properly adjusted. I had a problem with my manual window so I had a glass guy adjust mine so I won't be of much help on that topic. I would look into that and replace the messed up rubber.

This a common problems on Civics. On my 97, I usually have pop the window in the track and spray silicone down the front and rear edge to keep it from happening.
