Default driver side window won't work (help)

i have a 93 civic Ex 2dr. I've spent the last couple of days searching to figure out why my driver side door won't work it won't even make a sound. I've checked fuses (all good), checked switches (replaced with known good one) check to see if anything was off track but its not and still won't get nothing. PLEASE HELP am i missing something obvious or what else can i do to further diagnose this problem. any info. well be helpful.
also is there a relay for this year that has to do with the power window if so where is it located? thanks

1) Double check under-dash fuse #5 (20A) (you did this).
***2) The driver door window motor is dead. Take off door trim to inspect and replace (see picture). You should be able to get motor from local auto parts store.
3) Determine whether driver door window regulator is stuck or broken (you did this).
4) Inspect driver door switch (you did this)

I don't think problem is the window relay because it controls ALL windows (I assume passenger window works).

Thanks for helping out. i double checked my fuse and its good. and yes my passenger window does work fine. i took of the door panel and nothing seems to be broken or out ot the ordinary (compared it to another civic) but what i did realize is when i use my test light i have no power to the switch connector, none coming in nor coming out, and also there isn't any power to the door lock switch either. I'll will check on the motor hopefully that will do it

Based on this most recent information, you first need to sort out the problem with power to the window switch and lock before concerning yourself with the motor, which might actually be fine. I will post more info in a few minutes.

New Information: Test the driver door switch assembly as described in the picture. The results of your test should identify the specific problem. The fix will likely make the driver window work. If not, I will post information on how to test the window motor.

The door lock is on a separate circuit, so I think the lock switch might be bad. First test whether fuse #6 in the under-dash fuse/relay box is blown (this fuse sends power to the lock switch).

Kind of a remote possibility but sometimes the wires break where they flex every time you open the door. They even look OK on the outside but the copper breaks on the inside. Check everything thru carefully watching the diagram so you know which wires should be live and where they go dead.

ronj
that thumbnail didn't really show me how to test the window switch assembly unless i didn't read it correctly. but it just shows a 14p connector and a 1p connector but doesn't tell me what to check for or do. so if you know or done it beforecan you please point me in the right direction

oh ok thanks but i have one more question, on the fuse box underneath driver side i've look on somediagrams and they say that for my vehicle #8 fuse is what contols left front window. i just went out there and checked it again and i realized there is no power on that fuse. what do i do now?
i just purchased this vehicle 2 days agoand i guess the previous owner had installed some sort of speaker wire running to fuse #8 all the way to the radiator fan. dont know really why but i took all that crap off.

This picture is taken from the 92-95 Civic service manual. As you can see, fuse #8 should power the passenger front window motor. If the previous owner rewired the circuits, I won't be able to help you much with that problem. You will need to figure out the altered wiring and then adapt your strategy accordingly.
