driver side window won't work (help)

Ok i had a 93 and the same problem occured to me...the whole door wire harness fried from getting wet...so if it seems like nothing is working being controled by the drivers door...you can pull back the black weather covering from the wires and see if anything is burnt...but replacing the whole harness will be a b*tch, i just had to change the harness inside the door and not the chassis part...so it was a pretty easy fix for me. hope this help some...

thanks for the info.. alot of folks are saying that total replacement is difficult. I will end up performing surgery on the existing harness
