Default Ebay "chip"

The guy I bought my civic off already had some stupid ebay thing installed it is supposed to make the vtech kick in earlier so he says but I'm worried it adjusted my timing or ignition. Does anyone know where they would be located so I could take it out.

It's probably on the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) Sensor. That would be found on behind the intake manifold. The best idea would be to ask him where it is installed.

Best of luck
