ecm

if one of the numbers are different on the ecm does that make a differance mine says a-50 and the one i found says a-52

yes it does... so thats is the problem.. get the right ecu for your car and is will work.

go to ecudirect.com i am looking for one too. mine was stolen out of my car 2 weeks ago. the right one is hard to come by.
