Is the battery low or dead?

Maybe you should try a push start again. Hold the clutch down with the key in ON(II) and the transmission in first gear while a buddy pushes the car or you are rolling down hill. Then pop the clutch.

Thats what I had tried and it stops ridiculously fast. I'll go get my battery charged then try again :/

I am so glad all is fine with the engine. Any ideas about why the car went into a skid when you popped the clutch to start the engine?

I like to roll-start (forward) in second gear. First tries to spin the engine too fast and it seems a lot harsher. Course if you must roll the car backwards you only have the one choice of reverse.

Cause I have an extremely stiff clutch?

I like that for push starting I'll keep that in mind.
