Default EGR codes on a 2007 civic

I just purchased a 2007 Honda Civic and the check engine light came on. Scanned the code and it is P2413 EGR performance, cleared the code light goes out but returns about 80 km later. Anybody have any insite? is it just the EGR valve?

Often EGR codes are because the passages or valve are simply clogged up with carbon deposits which can be scraped out. Remove the valve and check. I don't know if the 2007 has the plate on top of the manifold like older models did.
