in my 98 civic, i have I/H/E .. S2 Intake Manifold, B16 Throttle Body .. umm, i have a head on the way to rebuild, now i know i gotta get it retuned to run that, now i was gonna go with a p28 and convert to obd1 .. would i be able to do this before i get the head on? .. if the p28 is chipped will this help me out any?

 

Its not going to do you much good, at least not until the reworked head is back. And having it chipped is pointless until you know for sure ALL of the mods that will be on it before it gets tuned.
