Hey guys.

I have a 96 civic with a d16y8. I haven't started it in a month since I was working on the body. It used to work fine before. Now when I try to start it, it has trouble turning, and there is a squeaking noise coming from the engine bay. The oil is fine, and the alt was recently changed, so I don't know what it is.

Any ideas?

 

If the engine is having trouble cranking when the ignition key is turned to start, then check the battery and its connections, as well as the starter motor and its connections.
