testing ecu trouble

Default testing ecu trouble

i have a 94 civ with a b16. i think my ecu is fried, im gonna borrow my friend's and just plug it in to see if my car will start, he has an auto tranny and i have a manual, does that matter? he has a 94 as well.

it should fire up if thats the problem. dont run around with it though.

cuz my car wont start and i dont get fuel and a spark

no, it cranks, just wont fire.

since you'll need a new one anyways, its a great excuse to spend a few more bucks and get a nice programmable ECU. Your B series will thank you, haha.
