Default Engine is chugging

It just started chugging like it is running on 3 cylinders. It has a new distributor, rotor, and plugs. The cap looks good and wires are 2 years old (about 20k Miles on them). It idles and starts fine. But when you press the gas that's when it occurs. Any clues to what may be my issue? Or any ideas to where i should look next?

The wires are the weak link. You can't tell if they are bad by looking, just replace them. Don't use aftermarket wires.

Chugs like it is running on 3 cylinders.

Yeah didn't want to replace them again(wires). But that's got to be my next step anyway.

Just had the same problem with my 96 cx. New dizzy cap, rotor, and wires and it runs like a champ.
