engine dies going down the road???

I have a 1990 crx completely stock with just 110,000 miles, while going down the road it dies for just a second like you turn the key off then right back on, any ideas would be helpfull.

i have a 1989 crx si and mine did the same thing it would only stay running if you had the key turned like you were trying to start it it was the ignition switch

another person had a similar problem and it ended up being his coil, might want to check that out

i would check the ignition swich like he said. either that or something else electrical.

i doubt its the cap and rotor, i had to replace that and that wasnt any symptons

when you say its like the key way turned off do you lose your guages, lights raidio, ect. ect. if so in my experiance it would more often be ither the ignition switch or some thing in one of the many ground wires
