engine problems
sounds like timing. roll er over enough times and it'll prolly start. i had the same problem before after doing an engine swap. could be that yer timing belt jumped a tooth or two. or just your ignition timing. mine would start if i cranked er over enough, then would start perfect as long as it was still warm. was backfiring thru the intake just like yours. but i wouldn't reccommend driving it like that. i did it just because it was christmas and i wasn't going to have shop access for a few weeks, and the new engine blew up after two weeks.
