Default Engine stumbling

Hello,
I have a 1995 Honda Civic CX with the 1.5L 16V engine. When the engine is very cold and I'm accelerating, it will begin to cut out for a fraction of a second, repeatedly. This goes away when the engine warms up. The car has 234,000 miles, so it's barely broken in [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]

It runs perfectly and I have no other problem. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mikel

Does the Check Engine Light come ON? You might have a dirty or faulty IAC valve.

No Check Engine light. How would a IAC affect engine operation at anything but idle?
Thanks.

Good question. The Trouble Shooting Guide in the 92-95 Civic service manual (http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/) suggests a faulty EACV can cause frequent stalling while the engine is warming up.
