ok my 97 civic ex blew its engine the other day we have no idea wats wrong with it and it is probablly something very major that will be hrd to fix so we were thinki of doin a swap , me and my brother thought it would be cool to swap something bigger in instead of just throwing another d16y8 in it, i really ned help knowing wats the cheapest and esiest engine to work with or any suggestions in this subject, maybe a gsr engine or an h22 or an si engine idk just wonderin help please cuz i kno nothing in this subject

There is no "cheap/easy" swap, so get that idea out of your head right now.


Whats wrong with the motor thats already in the car? You say "it blew it's motor" but what actually happened?

[sm=funnypostabove.gif], agree'd with forty. theres no such thing. if ur lookin for it cheap you might as well just replace the block of your d16 which is what probably just went out.....
